Panic! at the Disco is a pop rock/electronica band founded out of Las Vegas, Nevada. The band is made from Brendon Urie (vocals, guitar, keyboard) and his youth friend, Spencer Smiths (drums), such as their schoolmate, Ryan Ross (guitar, keyboard, backing vocals).
To promote their music, the band made touch with Pete Wentz (of Fall Out Boy) due to his LiveJournal website. Impressed through the band, Wentz individually met with the band and signed them to his imprint label Decaydance.
